About Knock Airport

Knock Airport was opened on 20th May 1986 after a campaign by Monsignor James Horan to provide an airport to service the wider community of the West and Northwest of Ireland. Knock is famous for an apparition of the Virgin Mary many years before this.
The airport services direct flights to the rest of Ireland and the UK. It also provides chartered flights to numerous destinations throughout Europe. Ryanair, Aer Arann and BMI Baby all fly out of and into Knock airport. Aer Lingus also fly to London Gatwick.
